The film explores his daily working life as an artist and his eventual return to Cuba after 40 years of living in exile. Shadow of the House uncovers the deep layers of a man who is pushed to confront his past and his familial allegiances as it explores his unique artistic vision.

Bending Time, Capturing Space: Georges Rousse's Durham Project (working title) is a work-in-progress by filmmakers Kenny Dalsheimer and Penelope Maunsell.

The film offers a portrait of visionary French photographer and installation artist Georges Rousse and documents the extraordinary community art project that hit downtown Durham in September of 2006. Rousse worked with hundreds of adult and student volunteers to construct and paint installations in several downtown buildings in transition. Bending Space, Capturing Time documents Rousse's unique process of creating whimsical illusions of color and shape in 3-D and reveals how he photographs these illusions with his camera.
