Shot on the streets of Berlin, The Traveler tells the
compelling story of Albin, a confused young man
trying to find a meaning in life.

Blending the borders between fiction and documentary,
everyone that Albin (Johannes Albin Alfvén) encounters
is a real person convinced at the time of filming that
they are in a documentary. The film not only poses
questions of what is real and what is fiction, it captures
the essence of backpacker culture and the dreams and
difficulties of a very confused, yet hopeful generation.
